Say Cheeeeeeese!

Whilst I was researching pictures for the post below, I typed the word 'awkward' into Google images and found some brilliant pictures - I highly recommend you try it.

I was also led to a website called Awkward family Photos and these are just a couple of the gems you can find there. I think someone had better call Social Services.

Just Dropping In

I haven't written much lately as I've been really busy - I've had enough time to come on here and read what you've all been up to and even comment, but I haven't had the time to formulate my thoughts I guess. Apart from BBC News 24, I haven't even watched any TV - and I love watching TV so that just goes to prove my point!

What I've realised is that I always come on here long before I might check Facebook, Twitter or my emails. Even though I've never met you guys, I'm far more interested in your lives than some of the people I actually know - maybe it's because you're easy friends and non-judgemental; or maybe you're more interesting!

My week has been very busy; lots of work and meeting people. Last night I had a really enjoyable meal in town with 3 women I used to work with; Kate who is stunning, really good fun and is full of bonkers stories (If it's going to happen to anyone, it'll happen to Kate) Judy who is a total lush, hilarious and is how I'd like to be when I get older, and John who is actually a woman, elegant, dignified and was strangely named after her father who died before she was born in the war. We spent 3 hours eating Thai food, drinking wine and laughing our arses off.

Here on the left we have Kate with a napkin that she absent-mindedly fashioned - it kind of says a lot about Kate...
And here is Judy investigating the situation. I'm not usually into smut but Kate hadn't actually noticed what she'd done until John suddenly said "what the HELL is that?!"... genius.

I'm sure I'll have loads more to write over the weekend but I have just finished designing and sending a newsletter and I'm shattered.

I'm really looking forward to going to the cinema on Sunday and doing sod all!
